December 15, 2009 ~ Around 0900 West Metro Firefighters were called to 1255 Youngfield Street for a Confirmed Structure Fire.  First arrving Squrt 2 sized up a ranch style home with smoke showing from the attic & garage; Company 2 initiated a fast attack.  Crews located a chimney fire which had extended to the walls and attic space.  The fire was quickly knocked down and extensive overhaul was required.  All searches proved negative and no injuries were reported.  The American Red Cross is assisting 6 family members all displaced by the fire.  Rick Luebke Photos
