April 9, 2009 ~ Around 1130 Control 2 alerted Englewood Firefighters to a smoke investigation at 3700 South Lincoln Street.  First due Engine 21 arrived to find a 2 story with garden level, occupied multiple dwelling with light smoke showing.  The crew from 21 advanced one line, forced entry and encountered heavier smoke conditions inside.  21's quickly located and knocked a small content fire which was held with no extension.  All searches proved negative and no injuries were reported, units began clearing within a half hour.  Eric Hurst Photos.  Click here for the full photo gallery.
