May 16th, 2009 ~ Around 1700 West Metro Firefighters were called to the Sheraton Denver West at 360 Union Blvd for smoke conditions inside.  Crews arrived to find an occupied hotel with nothing showing from the exterior.  After entering the room with smoke, a fire in the ceiling was located.  Several crews worked to extinguish and overhaul the area while other crews worked on evacuation and treating one hotel guest.  The fire was placed under control within minutes and no extensive damage occurred.  Photos by Rick L
