September 30, 2009 ~ South Adams Fire was alerted to a reported Structure Fire on Poplar Street.  Companies reported smoke and flames in the air from several blocks away.  Northglenn Ambulance & SAC Firefighters arrived to find 2 fully involved sheds in a backyard with the fire extending into a home.  Neighbors evacuated their houses bringing pets and small belongings with them in fear the winds would spread the fire even more.  An aggressive fire attack was conducted and the fire was quickly placed under control.  No injuries were reported and the house sustained minor to moderate exterior damage with no extension inside.  Mike Melton Photos
