November 11th ~ Just after 1400 Littleton & South Metro Firefighters were alerted to a Structure Fire in the 5000 block of East Nichols Place. First due Engine 15 found moderate to heavy smoke showing from a two story single family residence. The crew from 15 was quickly joined by E33 and TW32 who completed the water supply and assisted with fire attack. The fire was found primarily in the attic space and on the roof. With all hands on the first alarm assignment working, command ordered a second alarm. Additional units from Littleton and South Metro responded to assist, nearly the entire second alarm was committed to operations. After an hour of firefighting all of the extension was extinguished and overhaul continued. One patient was treated for minor smoke inhalation on scene, no other injuries were reported.
