June 27, 2009 ~ Just before midnight Denver Firefighters were called to the 200 block of Inca Street for a reported fully involved structure fire. The Rescue arrived first due to find a 2 1/2 story wood frame, single family dwelling with heavy fire conditions on the Charlie Side. Initially neighbors reported parties trapped. E11 laid into the alley where flames had already spread to a neighboring home on the Delta side and live power lines were down. An aggressive attack with several attack lines was put into place as the crews conducted searches on both dwellings. All searches proved negative and extensive overhaul work occurred. No injuries were reported and investigators were called to the scene. Eric Hurst Photos
