October 20 ~ Around 1730 Denver Firefighters were called to multiple reports of a structure fire in the 1700 block of South Federal. First due Truck 23 found a 3 story, occupied multiple dwelling with light smoke showing from vents along the roof line. Dual supply lines were laid in and an attack line was stretched to the 3rd floor. A plumber working the in the building sparked a fire which began extending in the walls to a neighboring unit. Companies opened up and knocked a small amount of fire, then conducted extensive overhaul. No injuries were reported and Federal was closed for nearly an hour for supply line protection.
