August 17, 2009 ~ In the early evening numerous 911 calls flooded Thornton & Adams County Communications centers reporting a white jeep traveling the wrong way on Interstate 25 near 120th Avenue.  At 1910 the vehicle struck several vehicles head on, triggering a 10 car accident.  The driver of the white Jeep was killed, three other patients were transported for their injuries.  I-25 was closed for over 4 hours while the investigation took place.  Mike Melton Photos
