November 11th ~ Just before 1930 Denver Firefighters were called to 2237 East 14th Avenue for reports of a structure fire. First due companies arrived to find heavy fire conditions from the B/C side of the two story residential building. Companies advanced attack and exposure lines and laddered the roof. Powerlines were found burned through on the C side and two parties were reported trapped in the dwelling. Crews effected the safe rescue of two victims from the basement who were both treated on scene for smoke inhalation; three other occupants were able to evacuate on their own. The fire was knocked down in the the first 10 mintues and extension into the B side exposure was prevented. No injuries were reported and investigators were called to the scene. Eric Hurst Photos
