July 22, 2009 ~ In the early afternoon Denver Firefighters were called to the 1800 block of South Lowell Boulevard for a reported structure fire.  First arriving Chief 7 found a one story brick single family dwelling with smoke showing.  Engines laid two supply lines and and advanced inside while the Truck crews conducted a search and removed burglar bars from the involved windows.  Flames vented out one corner of the home before being quickly knocked by the attack crew inside.  The fire was held to the room of origin, all searches proved negative and no injuries were reported.  Eric Hurst Photos
