July 19, 2009 ~ In the mid afternoon multiple departments responded to a large smoke plume in the area of 88th & Tower Road.  Crews arrived to find a large debris fire at the landfill.  Several lines were used to contain the fire and large tractors aided in suppression.  The fire was quickly brought under control with no extension.  Mike Melton Photos
