April 9, 2009 ~ Around 0230 North Washington and Thornton Fire Departments were alerted to a possible structure fire at 73rd and Washington.  The reporting party reported a small flame coming from the building with lots of smoke.  Firefighters arrived at 1327 E 73rd to find heavy fire conditions and asked for a full staff page.  The fire was fueled by a large fire load of stored vehicles, furniture etc.  Crews had a difficult time gaining accesses to the metal building but quickly cut multiple accesses points for fire attack.  Investigations started after daybreak.  Mike Melton Photos, View the full gallery here.
