September 14th ~ South Adams County & Denver Fire Departments were alerted to a possible structure fire at 7355 E 56th Ave at the Denver Water Facilities. South Adams Medics arrived on scene to find smoke showing from vents on the property. South Adams Command arrived and requested a working fire tone and more man power. South Adams and Denver Fire discussed the situation and came to the conclusion the call was actually on Denver Fires side of the county line, DFD handled the situation and South Adams picked up from the scene. A full tech rescue team response was requested and crews made entry to the underground tunnels using confined space rescue equipment. Once all safety precautions had been taken, one line was advanced by Engine 1 who located and knocked the fire within 15 minutes.
