September 11th ~ Thornton Firefighters were alerted to a serious MVA on I-25 just north of 144th Avenue.  Crews found a car vs. semi accident in the north bound lanes with parties trapped in both vehicles.  The victims were extricated and transported, one by air.  The interstate was shut down northbound for at least an hour for investigation and clean up of fluids.  Mike Melton Photos
