July 25, 2009 ~ At 1323 Thornton and Brighton Firefighters were alerted to a Confirmed Structure Fire at 3775 East 139th Place.  Neighbors reported a fully involved home with exposures threatened.  Engine 75 arrived on scene to find an evacuated one story, single family dwelling with a possible attic fire.  Engine 75 entered the house from the Alpha side for a fast attack in the attic and to conduct a primary search.  An off duty Firefighter reported to command that an exterior fire had made its way up the home’s exterior and into the attic and garage.  The fire was quickly knocked, the house was ventilated and overhauled.  No injuries were reported.  Mike Melton Photos
